Dialogue 102 Absolute & Relative I said in my theory that everything relative has no substance which is just concept, the way of thinking. The law of trinity works in the world of motion which is from macro world like universe to micro world like article, atom and molecular through medium world like human society. (1) “Dichotomy” (2) “The law of relativity between whole and part” (3) “The way of being and the way of thinking. To put it in another way, the world of motion is the world of image. Image has no substance but substance is necessary to project an image. To put it simply, still frame films are necessary to project motion picture like animation. Therefore, “Motion” is image and “stillness” is substantial. It is called “dichotomy” because there are surely two factors which are “substance (stillness)” and “image (motion)”. It is called “the law of relativity between whole and part” because there are “substance (whole)” and “image (part)”. It is called “the way of being and the way of thinking because there are “substance (the way of being)” and “image (the way of thinking)”. In general saying, There are the law of absolute and the theory of relativity because there are surely both “substance (absolute one) and “image (relative two). The theory of relativity argues only about the world of image which can be argued only about one side of “dichotomy”, which can be argued only about part of “the law of relativity between whole and part”, which can be argued only about the way of thinking of “the way of being and the way of thinking. To make matter worse, it can not be argued only about “image” without “substance”. The law of absolute can argue about all. We human beings can not see substance and take image as real because only we human beings misunderstand that this relative world is only real world. It is our example of misunderstanding that we think of dream as reality during sleep but realize it as dream when waking up. We human beings with intelligence and thinking reed live taking the way of thinking (image) as the way of being (substance). We human beings with intelligence and thinking reed live taking the way of thinking (image) which is the theory of relativity as the way of being (substance). We can not get rid of misunderstanding life unless we live on the basis of the law of absolute. We stick alive and fear of death. We desire healthy and hate ill. We long for rich and dislike poor. We hope to be happy and get rid of unhappy. These kinds of misunderstanding make us lead a hard life. Buddha preached that agony or anxiety of hard life was due to worldly desire but it is impossible for our little fork to do with this matter unless we know how worldly desire had been born. Buddha preached eight ways of right thing to do with this matter. See right. Think right. Say right. Do right. Live right. Make right effort. Pray right. Do right meditation. These are the methods how to get rid of worldly desire. However we can not do these unless we understand why we must do the methods. We first can live without death or alive once we can live beyond death or alive because we can understand it wrong idea to stick alive and fear of death. We first can live without healthy or ill once we can live beyond healthy or ill because we can understand it wrong idea to desire healthy and hate ill. We first can live without rich or poor once we can live beyond rich or poor because we can understand it wrong idea to long for rich and dislike poor. We first can live without happy or unhappy once we can live beyond happy or unhappy because we can understand it wrong idea to hope to happy and get rid of unhappy. We can do action if we understand it right thing. We can not understand this truth with the theory of relativity which is one-sided way of thinking. This one-sided way of thinking is called “relative monism of utilitarianism” by my theory. (1) “Dichotomy” (2) “The law of relativity between whole and part” (3) “The way of being and the way of thinking. This is the proof that the law of absolute can go beyond duality. Therefore, This is why I insist the absolute theory of evolution which is applicable from macro world to micro world because the relative theory of evolution is one-sided way thinking. To put it simply, Only human history never shows the truth unless we know the whole history involved other creatures, the earth, sun and universe.
