Dialogue 174 Incomplete intelligence Intelligence is capability of knowing and also to know about death. The raison d�fêtre for human beings is to know about death. However, we human beings have become fear of death by knowing about death and have had a hard time to live because of fear of death too much to make matter worse. To know about death makes fear of death. To fear of death makes have a hard time to live. To know is the root cause of vicious circle. Then, we better not know about death like other animals. I said that there is an identity of fear with unknowing. No fear comes with knowing. This is the essence of fear that knowing makes fear to disappear. The feeling of death, fear of being eaten which other animals have comes from unknowing. The concept of death which we human beings have comes from knowing. This is not reasonable. This is not comprehensive. It is because the concept of death is not reasonable, is not comprehensive. In other expression, It is because the concept of death is incomplete intelligence. It is because the concept of death that �gI shall surely die someday�h is incomplete intelligence. It is because that �gsurely�h is known but �gsomeday�h is unknown is incomplete intelligence. The understanding of death that �gI shall surely die on the day�h makes fear of death to disappear because it is complete intelligence. Fear coming from unknown. This is a way to live on the basis of monism. Fear coming from incomplete intelligence. This is a way to live on the basis of dichotomy which is relative monism of utilitarianism, incomplete dichotomy. No fear coming from known. This is a way to live on the basis of trinity which is real dichotomy, complete dichotomy. Whether do we take the matter of alive and dead as antinomy or complementary? This is the difference of way to live between dichotomy and trinity. We have no choice but to take �gI shall surely die on the day�h away from �gI shall surely die someday�h. Then, we can understand that to know about death is virtue.
