Chapter 33 Real and Imaginary We repeat to wake up to start the body activity in the morning and rest the body activity to sleep every day for about 30000 times in our lifetime. It is, in other words, the meaning we repeat the living pattern of two shifts 30000 times respectively. Then, we think that the shift to be making body activity is real. We think that the shift which is getting enough sleep is a auxiliary persistently and a rest of period of the body activity. However, one third of 24 hours a day is a sleeping which is to be 10000 days in the lifetime If we are making time that the body activity works be realistically, to sleep for about 10000 times a floret without seeming to be wasteful too much. As for the mechanism of the dormancy, it seems that the sound sleep to rest a body will be one hour out of one cycle of a dream which is one and a half hours, and the dreaming sleep will be 30 minutes out of one and a half hours in the cycle. This mechanism is a way of thinking from the standpoint with a physiology but I have a completely different viewpoint. I am sure to say that is right analysis about REM dormancy which is 30 minutes out of one and a half hours in the cycle of dormancy. In the lifetime, we have been dreaming for about 3000 days which is about 8 years to continue in dreaming. If we are making a reality to be the world of the illusion and the figment which doesn't have relation at all in the dream, for what purpose will the dream be? It was said that there was a purpose for the sound sleep to make flesh recover and for the dream to rest a mind on the basis of physiology. As you have, however, the experience at night or in a day that you will see the dream when it is difficult to go far asleep, and attacked by the drowsiness in the daytime and half asleep done. As I point out the mechanism of the sleep on the physiology, There is a deep sleep, the sound sleep for 1 hour and after that, it seems to repeat such as that the shallow dormancy which dreams, the REM dormancy, comes and 1 cycle's completing and also falling to the deep sound sleep. Why will we be able to dream while being half asleep only in the sleep in several minutes? As a matter of fact, we are not only dreaming in case of REM dormancy but at the sound sleep also. The mechanism of the dormancy is repeating sleeping soundly, REM dormancy again behind the back of the sound sleep but we are seeing a dream as expected at all times. When dropping off half asleep, it is in the sound sleep condition. However, we are dreaming. If saying strictly, it is in the REM condition that the dream can be clearly seen while being in the sound sleep condition. REM is abbreviation for Rapid Eye Movement. Your eyes don't move fast because you are dreaming, but your eyes are moving fast because the dream can be clearly seen. When the moon rises clearly in the night sky, you see the moon. Will you search for the moon erased by the light of the Sun in the daytime? At the time of the sound sleep, it doesn't become REM dormancy because the consciousness to the dream becomes thin in working strongly to rest body and then doesn't try to dream. The sound sleep and the awakening are in the strong condition of the consciousness to the body and so called individual consciousness that the consciousness to the body becomes strong. On the other hand, the REM dormancy is in the strong condition of the consciousness to the mind and the identity with the whole consciousness (the Space Consciousness) is strong condition of the consciousness to the mind. Therefore, the condition is the same as the identity with the Space when seeing the moon and a star in the night sky. The dream which is more appropriate and necessary about the world which is realistic and is overwhelming, but the eyes is moving fast. Are the world that we think of real is the world of merely imaginary (on the imagination) and are the world that we think of imaginary is the world of real actually? Then, the world of the consciousness at the whole Space is the world of Imaginary Time and Space. |
