Chapter 2 Real democracy We modern people have believed that liberalism, democracy, socialism and communism should give us freedom; however, the result is contrary that they aggravated discrimination, unfairness and wars. Mankind civilization is evolutional in our own conceit but may be retrogressive. Mankind civilization ought to have evolved from the ancient slavery society to the modern liberal, democratic, socialism and communism society through the medieval lordship society; however, what is aggravating discrimination, unfairness and wars? Entering the 21st century, the world is assuming an aspect of a gap-widening society where the gap between the rich and the poor is widening. Does it show that mankind civilization is evolving? If the gap-widening society had appeared due to the promotion of free competition after the liberal democratic world defeated the socialism/communism world in so-called Cold War, free competition did not lead to liberal democracy which gives us equal opportunity and unequal result but to unfair liberalism which brings about unequal opportunity and unequal result. It was not real democracy. After all, human society in 20th century could not realize real democracy. It was the cold war between liberalism and socialism/communism. Although they both professed themselves liberal democratic society and socialism/communism democratic society, they were, in fact, just liberal autocratic society and socialism/communism autocratic society and more autocratic society failed in the end. Democracy is a system to elect politicians who are committed to manage a nation on behalf of the people with whom sovereign power lies; however, the election system is just superficial and in reality they are elected on the succession and inheritance system, which makes very little difference from the ancient family system by blood and a shared territorial bond. In spite of election, they have already been arranged before election. This is absolutely not real democracy. Why did such contradiction occur? The main culprit is relative monism of utilitarianism that alive is good and dead is bad, male is good and female is bad, right is good and wrong is bad, strong is good and weak is bad, wise is good and fool is bad, rich is good and poor is bad, happy is good and unhappy is bad, heaven is good and hell is bad, healthy is good and ill is bad, god is good and devil is bad and ruler is good and ruled is bad, that is to say contradictory dualism, and the contradictory fear of death lurks. The 21st ideology must be the resolution of the contradiction as its main theme. |
