Chapter 31 The earth�fs heartstrings Among human beings living consciously, only those who have found suicide to be the one mode of death live with modesty. In other words, modesty is nothing but to be conscious. Then, what are we conscious of? We are conscious of the earth, the true parent. The creatures living consciously have unconsciousness because they have a sense of belonging (total feeling) to the earth. We human beings living consciously have consciousness because we have independent view (partial view) of the earth. They may be unconscious because of the sense (total feeling). We must be conscious because of independent view (partial view). We, however, are suffering with anxiety, agony and, finally, the fear of death because we are not conscious of the earth. Then, what is being conscious of the earth? To communicate with the earth is nothing but to be conscious of the earth. The earth also has consciousness and feeling as we human beings have them. Heart is defined as �gfeeling�h in my book �gReality within Sleep, Dream within Reality�h. �gFeeling (heart)�h is defined as �gGod�h in my book �gAn Autobiography of GOD�h. �gHeart�h of �gheartstrings�h is nothing but �gfeeling�h. In other words, it can be said �gfeelstrings�h. To touch the heartstrings (feelstrings) of the earth is nothing but to communicate with the gravity of the earth.
